Graduate students will find their ORCID is automatically linked to their thesis or dissertation in the Vireo ETD submission system and, eventually, the OAK Trust Digital Repository. For faculty and researchers, you may be asked for your ORCID when applying for a grant or submitting an article for publication. You may also wish to add it to your web profile, your CV, or any other place you list your research. ORCID recommends using the URL form of the Identifier, e.g., http://orcid.org/0000-0001-5494-4806.
