While not required, we highly encourage patrons to make an appointment before visiting the Kelsey Reading Room to use collection materials.
Appointments allow our staff to make sure that the material(s) you have requested will be ready before your arrival. Some of our materials are housed off-site and can take a full day or more to retrieve. The earlier you submit your appointment, the easier it is to make sure you will have everything you need.
When your materials are ready, you will receive an email letting you know. You can also check the status of your requests from your Cushing Online Request System account dashboard.
The Kelsey Reading Room’s regular hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm. Please refer to the University Library’s Hours page for any changes due to holidays, closures, final exam schedules, etc.
Studiers and those attending instructor-scheduled class periods do NOT need to make an appointment ahead of their visit.
