Unfortunately, library patrons cannot install apps and extensions to their session on the Library Chromebooks. Currently the only apps installed by default are:
Firefox
Flipster
VMware Horizon Client (for Virtual OAL)
Depending on what programs you need, try using the Virtual OAL service. This allows you to use a wider variety of programs on the Chromebooks, including Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office. Virtual OAL Info.
If you need additional software, please let the AskUs Desk know. While not immediately available, we can investigate options for software on these computers for the future. **Please note that any software suggestions have to come from the Google Web Store or Google Play Store.**
