The standard borrowing limit for students and faculty/staff is 100 items. Students can borrow items for 4 months and faculty/staff borrow items for 1 year.
Specific collections ( such as Reserves or DVDs ) and the Medical Sciences Library have lower borrowing limits. See our Checkout Privileges & Loan Periods for full details.
Unaffiliated users ( former students, community users, TexShare users, etc. ) can borrow up to 5 items at a time. Their loan period is 2 weeks, with 1 renewal.
