Answer

Yes. The Library has two online language learning options, Rosetta Stone and Mango Languages. Both can be accessed either on the web or by mobile app.

We have a limited number of licenses for Rosetta Stone; users are limited to one language course at a time and access lasts for six weeks per request (progress is saved even when the account is inactive). When requests exceed this limit they are placed into a waiting list and processed in the order they were received. Estimated wait times and the current selection of languages offered are shown on the request form.

Mango Languages offers a wide range of foreign language courses, currently over 70, as well as more than 20 ESL options. Mango has no waiting list or time constraints on usage. Requires creating an account with your TAMU email address.

The Library does not have physical copies of Rosetta Stone, but we do have other CD based language courses in our collection. These can be found using our online catalog. Stop by one of our service desks or AskUs if you need assistance finding one.

Our International Studies LibGuide also has a summary of some useful language resources.
