Answer

Beginning in Spring 2020, Evans Library moved streaming services to Mediasite, which enables us to deliver video and audio streams via eCampus courses. However, instructors must first request an eCampus course and then enable video in that course.

After those steps have been completed, then requests for audio or video streams should be submitted through our online Streaming Media Request form. Requests should be submitted well in advance, because we cannot guarantee immediate availability.

Most requests take approximately one week to process. This time can be significantly extended by issues such as shipping, licensing concerns, or high levels of demand (especially at the beginning of a semester).

Due to copyright restrictions, instructors must submit a request every semester to authorize (at the section level) their classes to have access.

Please contact askusmedandres@library.tamu.edu or the Media & Reserves streaming media team at 9798453122 if you have questions about a particular request or need additional information.
