Answer

When inquiring about your library record it is best to do so in person at a service desk in the Evans Library, the Medical Science Library, the Policy Sciences and Economic Library, or the Business Library & Collaboration Commons. Be sure to bring your Texas A&M University ID/library card or a valid, state issued photo ID with you. The library staff member at the desk will be able to pull up your library record and see if there are any blocks on your account.

If you are unable to come to one of the library branches we can answer questions over the telephone. Please call the Evans Library line at 979-845-3731. You will need to provide your name and University Identification Number (UIN) or library card number. You will also be asked to verify your mailing address.

We will not give out any information concerning a library account to anyone who is not the owner of the library account - this includes spouses, parents, and children, with the exception of police who have a subpoena.
