Answer

All borrowed items are due upon graduation, unless you are continuing at the University as a registered graduate student or employee. Your library record will not impact your graduation, but any outstanding items will be billed to your student account after graduation. All items must be returned and all fines and fees must be paid before you are eligible to borrow items as a former student.

Remote access to electronic resources is not available to students after graduation, but Texas A&M graduates are eligible for a free Former Student courtesy user account at the Libraries. Patrons with a courtesy account are able to check out five items at a time with a loan period of two weeks with one renewal.

Courtesy user borrowing privileges do not extend to equipment such as laptops, cameras, or projectors.

Access to electronic resources is available using guest logins for the Library's OAL computers (state issued photo ID required). For off campus research you may be able to find useful materials through our open access search portal, OAK Search. If you are a member of a participating Texas public library, you can also try the TexShare Databases.

Also, here are some additional Open Access sources you can search.
