Fines can be paid on behalf of another patron. They will need to know the name, UIN, and university email address of the person who has the fine on their account and the exact amount they are paying for. The Libraries cannot give out information concerning patron accounts, including fines owed.

Follow the standard instructions for paying a fine, with the following amendments:

When filling out the first section asking for personal information use the name, UIN, and email of the patron who has the fine on their account. You can add the payer's name in the additional comments box. After proceeding to checkout, at the second prompt for an email, use the payer's email address.
